The 22nd Annual
Virginia Wine and Craft Festival
sponsored by Jack Evans Chevrolet &
Cadillac, will be held Saturday, May 17, 2008 in historic downtown
Front Royal,
Virginia.
The festival hours are 10
a.m. – 6 p.m.
Come and enjoy tastings from

Virginia
wineries.
You will be
able to find anything from fine handmade jewelry, hand painted wine
glasses, hand crafted musical instruments, pottery and ceramics.
For the corvette fans come and see the corvettes on display
courtesy of Shenandoah
Corvettes.
If
you are hungry, there will be a variety of festival food, including
the famous funnel cake, fresh roasted nuts, crab cake sandwiches,
steak-n-cheese, seafood, or you may wish to step inside to one of
our many restaurants located at the event site.
There
will be plenty for the children to do as well including rides like a
Giant Slide, moon bounce and joust, games and face painting. Brought
back by popular demand is Water Wars and the Acro-Spring!
Entertainment
will be provided by Glass Onion (Beatles music) from 10 a.m. – 11:30
a.m.; The 8 Tracks – 11:30 a.m. – 1p.m.; Texas Chainsaw Horns
(variety music) from 2:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m at the Gazebo and The
Church Street Project from Noon – 2 p.m. and Bill Dykes & The
Beatnik Night Players from 2:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. on the Courthouse
Lawn. Local band Glass
Onion is a Beatles cover band.
Texas Chainsaw Horns blends soul, funk, rock and country, The
Church Street Project plays folk, bluegrass, traditional
rock-n-roll, and Bill Dykes & The Beatnik Night Players plays
bluegrass/jazz variety.
Music for everyone’s taste.
